Coated soldering frames from composite material
with K10101 ESD

The stress for the composite material especially during the lead–free soldering process is increasing more and more. The wastage of the soldering frames can be reduced due to our ESD coating K10101. This coating allows an extension of the cleaning intervals of the solder mask. Flux residues on the circuit board in the range of support bars are significantly reduced. This is especially true in the wake of the lead-free transition that has become increasingly popular with water-based fluxes.

In partial soldering systems in 3D-Design (lower side reflow soldered SMD components are covered by the solder mask and it can be soldered only the THT components due to the solder wave) solder balls can be almost completely avoided thanks to heating of the substrate.

The surface resistance is between 10E5 and 10E9 OHM and thus corresponds to ESD requirements.

The base material is a coated and tempered, almost distortion-free aluminum beam. The coating is a heat-resistant, abrasion-resistant layer of powder, which is specially designed for high-volume non-stick applications at high temperatures in industry and households.
